    Coordinated Tourism Strategies

    • Brand Main Street on Halsey as a destination
    • Establish the corridor area as the "Gateway to the Gorge"
    • Consider a shuttle or transit service to Multnomah Falls
    • Promote more services and amenities such as restaurants, breweries and retail
    • Complete the 40-Mile Loop Regional Bike Trail
    • Promote bike tourism along the Gorge
    • Improve access to the Sandy River
    • Enhance wayfinding and signage to promote tourism and sense of place
    • Consider a Main Street Program

    Organizational Strategies

    Collaboration is critical between Cities, County, and Port

    • Establish a Tri-City Collaborative “Compact” between Cities of Troutdale, Wood Village, Fairview, Multnomah County, and Port of Portland
